I donโt know about you, but pancakes have always been a challenge for me to get right. Even before I was vegan, my pancakes always came out burnt black on the outside and soupy and uncooked on the inside no matter how low the heat and how patient I was!ย
For some reason, this banana oat pancake recipe is the only one I can nail, and the pancakes come out perfectly cooked every time! With just three ingredients – banana, oats, and nondairy milk – you have super healthy pancakes that are naturally sweet from the bananas. Not to mention, they are also the thickest and fluffiest pancakes ever.
Blend it all up!ย
One of the worst things about making pancakes is the mess! The flour or pancake mix always manages to get everywhere.ย
With this recipe, you just blend everything together in a blender, including the oats! Oats are a vegan pantry staple for this very reason. Having oats on hand means you always have a versatile gluten-free flour just by blending them in a blender.ย
The Nutribullet is the easiest blender to clean for me, but any blender should do.
If youโve always had trouble making pancakes like I have, try this recipe out and see how easy it is to get perfect, thick banana oat pancakes with just 3 simple ingredients.
